No chance of me staying there again

Pros: The price was okay given that it was a holiday weekend.
Cons: The room needs to be remodeled: the walls need to be stripped of the old wallpaper, the walls patched and fresh paint applied.
Location: It's location is fine, other than access to the entrance. Not sure what's close by as we were visiting family.

bed bug and lots of wierdos

Cons: Nothing close, No free Internet, Noisy, Poor breakfast
im a new yorker and flew to the Oakland international for a business seminar at the metreon in san francisco and did not expect this place to be such a dump with crack heads and working females also found real bed bugs at this hotel....

A Nice, Clean, Comfortable Room

This Motel was a very good value! It was quiet and comfortable; the staff was pleasant and accomodating. All in all a very nice place!

Disappointing

We changed rooms 3 times trying to get a decent one. We settled for the 3rd room, but the door had been broken into so the chain latch would not keep anyone from entering, the heater was hard to keep running, the smoke alarm was missing and the light switch didn't work. The location was a short drive to the Oakland Airport and close to public transportation, but this is the worst hotel we have ever had.\n\nThere was a breakfast. (donuts)

Excellent Rooms and Great Stay

I enjoyed my stay at Econo Lodge in Castro Valley, CA. Clean rooms and well kept up hotel. Excellent Staff and nice customer service. Views of Castro Valley are really nice from the room or the balcony. Enjoyed convienance of the shopping center across the street.
